Jessica aims to help families clarify and meet their own infant feeding goals. She provides culturally congruent, inclusive, and flexible care plans.
Lactation Consultations

Jessica Claire started helping breastfeeding families as a volunteer and quickly realized how rewarding it was to assist in the transition to parenthood. After additional education and training, she passed the board exam for lactation consultants in 2011 and, as an IBCLC, subsequently started her private practice. She has breastfed two girls (now ages 10 and 14) and found the relationship built on breastfeeding to be immensely rewarding. She strives to help other parents meet their breastfeeding goals with compassionate, evidence-based care.
She regularly attends conferences and workshops to keep her knowledge and skills current. In addition to her private practice, Jessica teaches prenatal breastfeeding classes at The Family Room and the Del Mar Birth Center, and also works as an inpatient, outpatient, and NICU Lactation Specialist at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital. Jessica has an interest in holistic health and nutrition and enjoys including that knowledge in her work with families.
